La Murta is situated in the Costa Blanca mountains which rise sharply from the beautiful coastline between Alicante and Valencia in south eastern Spain. The region is renowned for its temperate climate and up to 300 days of sunshine per year.

The mountain range has some of Europe's most beautiful scenery combining wide ranging sea views, ancient olive groves, and fascinating limestone caves, crags and tunnels.

La Murta's two acre olive grove is set deep down in one of the most picturesque valleys in the area: a beautifully protected haven just a mile from the traditional Valencian mountain village of Tarbena.
